EastGRIP - Field Diaries

Eversince the project began in 2015 a field diary has been kept. From 2019 the Field Diary is updated on our new website: Eastgrip.org.

You can sign up to the eastgrip-diary mailing list, and you will thus recieve the field diaries directly from camp. You sign up by following this link: https://mailman.nbi.ku.dk/listinfo/eastgrip-diary. Please note that you cannot reply to this list as all mails, except from the FL and FOMs, will automatically be rejected.

2016 was the year of the balloons. The trenches were constructed - the drilling of the EastGRIP main core has begun!

Field season 2015

2015 was the year of the traverse from NEEM to EGRIP. Everything in the old NEEM camp was packed down and moved to the new EGRIP camp by overland traverse.
