Monday 25th of June
Today was a major day of exchange as we received a Skier with 25 passengers. 13 camp personnel that will stay in camp over a longer period, 9 media people from 2 Norwegian channels (NRK and N Film) as well the Nova Channel featuring Jim White. We also welcomed 3 ice musicians that will perform a concert in a designated balloon trench here at EGRIP later this week. We all look much forward to that event.
On departure of the Skier we waved goodbye to 9 camp participants and in the following days camp population is 45. Camp was busy all day with arriving and departing passengers and cargo. The deep drilling, logging, and surface programs continued at full speed, and during the week, the science trench and the firn gas drilling will be activated, and the rapid access deep drilling (RADIX) project lead by Jakob Schwander will be initiated.

- Deep drilling 18.30 m. Drillers’ depth 1238.98 m. Loggers depth 1250.91 m
- DEP measurement of firn gas shallow core to 86 m depth
- Water vapour sampling and measuring.
