A visit in the vapor tent

Today Josefine made us a very nice brunch after our “Friday-Saturday” yesterday. Tomorrow a new flight period will begin, and we will have a lot of new people in camp.

We made a visit to the vapor tent where Iben and Martin showed us around, and told us what they were doing.

What have we done today:

1. Cleaned the main dome
2. Resampled snow surface profile in the clean snow area
3. Prepared pallet for tomorrow’s flight
4. Taken down Japanese tent
5. Dug the double pit tourist friendly
6. Visited the vapor tent
7. Closed the last ice cores boxes

Weather today: Few low broken clouds. Temperatures: -15 °C in the morning increasing to -7 °C during the afternoon. Wind increasing from 0 to 12 knots the direction changing from S to W.
